The beginning history of the publishing house led across the city of Bonn and the city of Cologne, the largest city of the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia with two leading universities, the University of Bonn and University of Cologne from where the first anthology of poetry ''Junge Lyrik'' took its beginning in 1999.〔Kurzporträt: Ulrike Walden: ''Er schult sich an Schiller und Rilke – Student unterstützt junge Poeten.''
